This past week has been a whirlwind of business travel – California, Chicago, New York! To be honest, with time zone changes and busy airports there are days I wonder how I can fit in some of my activities. That’s why people are amazed when I follow a long trip by showing up at a networking function!

A leaner company is one that eliminates waste by creating processes to provide high quality work while reducing the cost it incurs to get there. You may see this in reduction of staff, cutbacks in the amount of steps we take to get from A to B, or elimination of work that is not directly contributing to the bottom line.
